To best understand where your future painting will live, please describe the setting, quantity and size you are interested in. If you have pictures of where you would like to mount the painting/s that would be even better. Please email these to amandamahonyart@gmail.com
Your Colours, surfaces and textures
As my work is very colourful and full of texture, there are many possibilities! One suggestion is for you to view my art here on the website and Instagram, then choose the artworks that you enjoy the most. Please send me your choices and from there we can further discussions composition, colour palette and textures. Don’t worry, your painting doesn't have to be like the ones you choose, the same or even similar. Each painting is created especially for you, and your preferences will only be used to guide and will not be directly recreated. Please note in the email if you would like the painting on a custom wood panel, stretched cotton canvas or primed linen and request whether you'd like it finished in a frame (additional cost). Please also advise if you particularly wish to avoid certain things, for example, certain colours.

Once you've outlined the above, I will contact you to discuss further, arrange a FaceTime/Skype session to show options, if available, and on agreement will provide a quote.

In most cases a commission takes up to roughly six weeks to create (depending on size and texture - as oil paint takes some time to dry!). To secure the commission, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to commencing work. The balance is due on completion and approval of the artwork.
Progress
During the creation process I will email/DM (Direct Message on Instagram) progress pictures with updates for approval. The quote includes up to two minor compositional amendments. I want you to love your commission so reworks can be requested but may incur additional costs.

I have 2 of Amanda’s pieces hanging in my home and I can’t wait to add more. I love her use of texture and colour to create meaning. Each piece tells a story different from the next. The second piece we added to our collection was a commission: I gave a tough brief not quite able to articulate what I wanted and Amanda asked all the right questions, engaged in back and forth communications to ensure I was happy and turned it into a true masterpiece. Our guests always comment on how much they like them. Would absolutely recommend her work.
